The “cruel” punishment of the African wild dogs for the hyena.

Hyenas are famous for being nocturnal, often prized for their collective coordination when hunting, as well as their persistence in pursuing their prey.
Hyenas can kill large animals such as zebras, wildebeest, wild buffalo but rarely escape the clutches of lions if traveling alone.

Both the hyena and the wild dogs stood firm against each other’s threats, the pack of wild dogs began to harass the mother hyena and her cubs. The mother hyena is forced to protect her young cubs from a pack of wild dogs. The little ones in the herd still standing up to harassment show how brave they are.

When threatening actions were no longer enough to “deter” the stubborn foreigner, two members of the wild dog pack decided to punish it. They rushed over and took a painful bite right in the middle of the hyena’s nose.

It seemed that hyenas would know better after the somewhat devastating attack of the wild dogs. But in fact it was still determined to stay and got a small part of the spoils that the hunting dogs got. This is a particularly well-deserved reward for the hyena’s persistent, painless effort.
