A lone hyena is clearly seen trying to attack a pack of wild dogs so that it can claim the body of a recently hunted prey as a reward. Of course, it was not easy for a pack of wild dogs to give up a piece of fatty meat to an intruder with such great ambition.

When threatening actions were no longer enough to “deter” the stubborn foreigner, two members of the wild dog pack decided to punish it. They rushed over and took a painful bite right in the middle of the hyena’s nose.

It seemed that hyenas would know better after the somewhat devastating attack of the wild dogs. But in fact it was still determined to stay and got a small part of the spoils that the hunting dogs got.

This is a particularly well-deserved reward for the hyena’s persistent, painless effort.
