Hippo saves wildebeest from African crocodile’s jaws.

A wildebeest was lucky to escape death when two hippos came to rescue him from the sharp fangs of a hungry crocodile.
The story of unexpected help from strangers was recorded by an elderly couple during a tour of the national park.

Suddenly, a giant crocodile emerged from under the water and grabbed a wildebeest standing near the water. The crocodile grabbed the hind leg of the prey, trying to drag it into the water to finish it and eat it. The poor animal struggled, trying to escape the grip of the large animal, trying to climb onto the shore hoping to escape but failed.

After a struggle, the wildebeest was completely exhausted, its whole body was gradually pulled into the water, about to die a painful death. Suddenly two hippos swam from somewhere, discovered the scene and jumped at the crocodile, freeing the wildebeest from its sharp fangs. The rescued antelope quickly ran to shore despite its hind leg bleeding from injury.

While the antelope was in trouble, its herd could only stand and watch, with no intention of intervening or rescuing. Without the appearance of the other two hippos, the wildebeest would have perished under the jaws of the crocodile.
