Horrifying moment! Wild dogs attack and take down impala antelopes in the blink of an eye

Even though its stomach was torn open by a pack of African wild dogs until its intestines were sticking out, the Impala was still determined to fight back to the end to try to keep its life.

The clip of the Impala’s tragic moment was recorded by a tourist at Kruger Nature Reserve (South Africa), showing the moment an Impala was taken down by African wild dogs.

While the African wild dog was biting its prey to enjoy the fruits of the hunt, the antelope suddenly stood up, using its horns to fight back against the predator. Because the antelope’s abdominal skin had been bitten and torn by wild dogs, the antelope’s intestines and internal organs fell out when the animal stood up.

The Impala at this time did not seem to feel the pain, using all its remaining strength to fight back against the predator.

However, the impala’s last desperate efforts were not enough to help the animal survive. Other African wild dogs in the herd quickly appeared, surrounding the seriously injured antelope. Not long after that, the Impala accepted its fate of becoming a meal for wild dogs.

The African wild dog, also known as the spirit wolf or striped wolf, is a mammal in the dog family, mainly distributed in Africa. They are highly social animals, living in groups with separate dominance hierarchies between males and females.
