The leopard stole the crocodile’s lunch and was fiercely resisted

According to Daily Star, a brave leopard saw its prey’s carcass on the riverbank so it approached while the crocodile hid in the water right next to it. When the leopard was about to step into the water, the crocodile emerged and opened its mouth wide, causing the leopard to panic and have to step back.

The leopard did not leave immediately but tried to approach the prey’s body again. But every time it came close, the crocodile would rise from below and open its mouth wide to threaten.

The leopard then had to give up and leave the riverbank area. The video was posted on the Kruger Sightings YouTube channel on October 15 and attracted thousands of views within a few hours.

The fourth person believed that the leopard was afraid when he saw the crocodile’s sharp teeth.

Compared to leopards, jaguars are famous for their ability to hunt crocodiles. Great jaguars can kill crocodiles with just one fatal bite. In this case, the crocodile saw the presence of the leopard, so it was difficult for the predator to launch a surprise attack.
