The misfortune of a newborn giraffe when it was just learning to walk was confronted by a hungry lion.

A female giraffe gave birth to a calf. Half an hour after being born, giraffes were able to walk with very little tripping and within 10 hours they were able to run.

“Unfortunately for this young calf, a hungry lioness showed interest in the calf shortly after it was born.

The lioness is watching the giraffe and her cubs with interest.

The newborn cub was knocked over by its mother several times while trying to escape from the lioness. After walking, the giraffe and its baby, who had not even had a sip of milk in their lives, reached a dead end caused by the river bed.

The lioness crept up to them. The mother tries to protect her cub from the lioness and panics – accidentally bumping her newborn baby off a cliff. The newborn calf is now stuck in the riverbed, the mother cow goes out to the river bed to try to coax the calf out but is too weak to climb up the bank.
The calf – at this point – had no chance against the apex predator who took the opportunity to grab the calf and carry it towards the water.

The mother lion tried her best to protect her newborn cubs and chased the lioness away many times. At this point, we think the calf is 100% dead.

However, to everyone’s surprise, the calf finally found safety in the river, where it fell asleep from exhaustion. Unfortunately, the baby giraffe, in an unprecedented struggle for survival, drowned.
