The mother elephant used her 1 meter long tusks to pierce the crocodile’s throat in the hope of rescuing her last child.

Specifically, when he saw the baby elephant drinking water on the riverbank, the crocodile swam closer and intended to attack its prey. However, this action was discovered by the mother elephant. To protect her baby, the mother elephant immediately went to the crocodile, pushing the predator with her head and trunk.

It acted more aggressively and began trampling on the animal, estimated to be between 2.4 and 3 meters long. Mother elephants do not have tusks so they have to use their mouths to attack. It even used its trunk to wrap around the crocodile’s tail and then throw it around. Continuous trampling by female elephants weighing 2.7 – 3.6 tons caused the crocodile to die.

The person who uploaded the clip said he was really shocked to see the incident happen right before his eyes. Attacking the baby elephant is considered a wrong decision by the unfortunate crocodile.

The African elephant (Loxodonta africana) is the largest land animal in the world, adults can weigh up to 6 tons and be more than 3 meters tall. Their average lifespan in the wild is 60 – 70 years. Female elephants and their calves often live together in herds, while male elephants tend to separate.
