The mountain goat was not afraid when attacked by the komodo dragon, it fought fiercely with the dragons until the last minute.

Despite its reputation as the only dragon that actually exists on earth, most people don’t know how komodo dragons hunt. With their large and slow bodies, they rarely attack their prey directly.

Normally, komodo dragons will quietly approach their prey, then deliver a cold bite. That death bite carries venom that is injected into the prey’s body. After the prey is bitten, the komodo dragons will pay special attention to that prey. The venom will gradually weaken the prey and cause it to collapse after a few days. This is also the time when the dragons enjoy their meal after many days of waiting.

The situation in the video is another case. One of the komodo dragons approached a mountain goat, which silently delivered a death bite. But the mountain goat did not “act according to the script”. Immediately after being bitten, the mountain goat immediately used its horns to attack the komodo dragon continuously.

At first, the komodo dragon dodged the mountain goat’s attacks. It sluggishly moved far away from its troublesome prey. But the mountain goat did not stop, it continued to gore the komodo dragon repeatedly.

This made the komodo dragon impatient. It rushed to bite the mountain goat’s leg, then used its tail to whip it so hard that the prey fell down, and then with the whole herd tore into the stubborn prey.
